Node Pro implements Octoprint's file transfer protocol.
Thanks to Octoprint for open source, Node can realize Cura to transfer files directly to SD card.
Make sure your Node Pro's firmware version is 2022-9-29-2007 or newer
At present, the cura plug-in can only upload gcode to Node Pro, start printing on Cura, and cannot send instructions to the printer through Node Pro on Cura
We install Cura4.10+, and then start installing plugins. As shown below:
Open Cura, in Perferences->Configure Cura
After opening Perferences, click Printers->Select the corresponding printer->Click Connect Octoprint
Node implements parts of Octoprint's network protocols, andl Cura will treat Node as an Octoprint device.
1.Click “Add” to add a Octoprint instance
2.Input a device name of Node
3.Input Node’s IP here
Click “OK” to finish add instance
Now let's try to connect to Node, enter "fiberpunk" in the API Key, and click "Connect"
If the connection is successful, you can see the following:
Click "Slice", after slicing, in the save icon in the lower right corner of cura, "Print with Octoprint" will appear
Click "Print with Octoprint" in the lower right corner of Cura's main interface, and cura starts to transfer the sliced files directly to Node
